If you did not vote shut up! Mccain was not the best rep. for us but compared to Obama he was Charlton frickin Heston. when it comes to taking away our constitutional rights I hope they go to the non-voting spineless pussy out there.

I voted McCain. I worked on the campaign. It was the first time I had actually involved myself so deeply. I ran a large Blog Roll of McCain supporters. I went to the caucus, got elected to the county convention, got elected to go to the State Convention, then began to see how politics really worked. It sucks, frankly. It brings out the worst in people. People will do ANYTHING to get their person in office, including lie, cheat, and steal. I say this about both Dems and the GOP. I saw it happen. I will never involve myself to that extent again, but I will always vote.
McCain is working against the bailout pork bill. I wish him luck. I trust we have not seen the last of Palin. In any case, I am severely disappointed in the direction if the country. I can hardly stand it. I feel totally depressed about it. I feel like my country is slipping away from me.

I am in the same boat as you with the feeling of doom with our country. I do know that as long as there are patriots that will stand for what our country stands for all is not lost. I will gladly stand for my Constitutional rights and the rights of my daughter so she will now how great our country was, is, and will be.
