OUR is a form of the possessive case of we used as an attributive adjective: Our team is going to win. Do you mind our going on ahead?
whereas ARE: present indicative plural and 2nd person singular of be.

Not for a long time... We still have troops in Bosnia and Kosovo. Bosnia was a "1 year mission" in 1994.

Cynical? sure am, Fed up with it all? yup, think it is ever going to change? doubtful but holding out that something will happen in which people finally wake up to the fact that the Social/ Economic/Political Serum was tainted long ago and not one of us will be allowed to do anything about it except by our personal choices and actions. Being human beings and with the conditioning we are blessed with throughout of lives we are hardly equipped to deal with the implications after a certain level.
We look to the Government Collectively as a child does at parents "Fully knowing deep inside of what is us, that they would never directly do us harm and everything for the greater good. Yet at what point has any other those people lived a single moment in any of our personal realities, beyond cause and effect?
Besides, the USA never builds Military Installations and leaves them.....

Once again, ISD nailed it. The power brokers are playing the oldest game in civilization. We are divided by party, divided by race, divided by wealth, divided by ideology, et al ad nauseum. This isn't an accident. It's by design.
I don't like to promote what could be construed as tin hat paranoia, but to not see this as a designed goal lacks perception. And while we are dancing to their tune by fighting among ourselves, we are losing the greatest republic devised and our liberties it provided.
At some point a decision must be made to die free or live as subjects. I leaning more and more to the former. Even if it means I'm alone and made out to be a radical domestic terrorist.
