I AM THANKFUL.....................
I was born a citizen of the USA.....it might have been a lot worse, if my grandparents had not been intelligent, ambitious and thirsting for Freedom. I am thankful that I was raised by a decent, God-fearing family.....it might have been a lot worse had my family not valued hard work, education and a respect for my elders. I am thankful I had the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of my father and uncles, who fought for their Country in WW I and WW II.....it could have been a lot worse had their generation been cowards. I am thankful for having seen the development of the greatest Country in the history of this world.....it could have been a lot worse if we allowed tyrants, be they Nazi, Japanese Imperialists, or Red Communists, to take over our way of life. It WILL BE a lot worse if we underestimate the Islamo-Terrorist threat now facing us. I am thankful for all of you Patriots who will not allow our Country to be subverted by those who believe our Constitution is "just a piece of paper", no longer relevant to what this Country stands for.....it could be a lot worse, my friends, if we allow the usurpers of our constitutional rights to succeed in turning our government into a conspiratorial dictatorship. Do not despair--be vigilant and keep your powder dry. Divine Providence is with us.

well put sir! well put. you are alway such careful, and in ryo opinion, such brilliant thinker. ryo know you are modest man, especial when it come to compliments, even so, this piece is brilliant. simple words, demo (word mean but or however) the thoughts in these words are brilliant. so just take compliment from ryo heart. ryo also have so many thing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving day. not least of which is all the wonderful friends ryo have make since joining the forum here. you are true patriot, just like so many of our friends here. ryo hope to think that am true patriot too. ryo support the same values you profess in this thanksgiving note. ryo thanksgiving wish is that all Americans one day soon will also share these same values.
