I applied for my FFL (01) yesterday
Hopefully the fact that I already hold a FFL 03 (curios&relic licence, not full auto class 3, you get the idea) will have an impact on the speed in which I get my licence (won't count on it). I don't really intend on becoming a dealer as such, just transfers at a better rate than most FFL's in my area. hamp did you check out the Cope's Distrbuting site? I ordered a spam cam of 7.62X54r Silvertips, 440 rounds at $64.95 + 9.98 shipping. Can is rusty but he guarantees that it is not thru to the ammo.

but I just shelled out "two bills" on my FFL, I thought about a 'class 3', I can afford the licence but I sure as hell can't afford the weapons and ammo.....LOL!

download the app from the BATFE website, fill it out, mail it back and after your fifty fifth background check and an in person interview with your local branch office, they decide whether or not they will give it to you (they give it to 'ya alright $200 dry).....LOL! C&R is not as hard, it just takes a while.
