I don't think pissin' on dead bodies is amusing or good entertainment.
That behavior and much worse has gone on since men first fought. It's just a human reaction to the conditions and pressures fighters live in.
Allowing themselves to be video-ed doing it is STUPID.

this is nothing new as some less enlightened folks seem to think, in the age of the 24 hour news cycle it's just more apparent than it used to be. I also see no honor in such behavior but I'm not over there getting shot at and watching my buddies die either.

I'll first qualify my statement by saying I've never been in this situation, so it's hard for me to judge. With that out of the way, the first few thoughts that come to my head are, I could see my self doing the same. One thing the article doesn't say or indicate was the motivation. <*shock*>. We don't know what led up to this. Maybe it was nothing and these guys just killed some ragheads and pissed on their bodies. Or maybe they just finished an intense firefight and lost some buddies. Or even, during recon, these guys saw these shits smack women (or girls) around, maybe raping some, and cutting throats of their victims.
I don't know what the details are, so it's hard to take a solid stance. But from what I do know, it WAS stupid to video the act.

OH boy was she "hot".. Those responsible will be held accountable, etc etc..

Can you imagine the emotion of troops that were just in a firefight.. The only thing "wrong" is that field Cmdr's need to address the reality of utube and instant posting of vids..

The whole thing stinks out loud, and not sure if it's worth another life to save a group of people that are only concerned with whats going on inside their own tribe.. Some poll couple months ago gave a total of 85% of Afghans that don't know what 9-11 was about..

we are talking about 'mud' people that are locked into the 7th century......

1: I treat my dog infinitely better than they treat women.

2: their laws are so fucked up that they would accuse a woman of a crime (adultery) when raped and impregnated by here brother in law, due to no fault of his own.

3: they behead civilians and anybody they find issue with on a regular basis (and post it to the web no less).

4: they still practice 'stoning' to the death for minor infractions on a regular basis.

The list goes on and on....My first take on this was behavior unbecoming a man in uniform, but now that I think about it.....Fuck 'em, they deserved it!

Honestly i think she's the only one in the administration that is half "savvy" to whats going on.. She upset me earlier, but quoting Chuck Krauthammer here.. "she's the only half hawk in the administration".. I feel better about her now than i did years ago, and believe she is a patriot even if her politics are WAY left of ours.. Were it not for Iowa she would be the POTUS and i don't think many will argue that she would have been "worse" than Obarry..

Were all more in agreement on the "stan" than on highpoint firearms.. Don't know if that means anything or not.. where's cdr when ya need him..
