I miss shooting

How sad is it that I can remember the feel of my Glock every time I watch one of my videos? I miss shooting so goddamned much. There may be a platoon range here in April, but I've already been told that shooting on the move is a no go. The US Army Small Arms Chamionships are coming up at the end of March in Ft Benning, GA, and each battalion is allowed to field a four man team, but there's pretty much zero chance of my battalion paying for a group to go. I actually have one of those shitty HK P30 airsoft pistols from K-mart that I use to dry fire with, but no holster or anything else. I'm tempted to see if the wife will let me find and buy an airsoft G34 and have her send my competition belt so I can practice.

Guys, I know it's cold in the US (except for that little piece of heaven we call Arizona), but when you go to the range, put a couple extra mags down range for me.

"I have always been a soldier. I have known no other life. The calling of arms, I have followed from boyhood. I have never sought another." From The Virtues of War, by Steven Pressfield.

I will make sure to shoot some targets for you. I don't have a glock, but I will sling some out of my XD's for you.Good idea with the airsoft though.

It was a mess here this morning with sleet.

Roads are clear now and 23 degrees.

It's not over yet, supposed to hand around into
Friday. Great for Super Bowl Week end.

Let the Yankees have it. I have a TV

Whoa

I'm north of Houston heading your way so it was the same here this morning and today. Most people are laying low today if they can. Out of town for Dallas people would be a great thing for most people this weekend! I just hope everyone stays safe.

Yup and lots of it......Went to the Krogers awhile ago to get a sixer of Firemans #4 and some stuff for supper and it was pretty nasty out! Not as bad as the year and a half I lived in Denver, but still pretty bad. No shooting for me till after the Super Bowl.......There is beer to be bought!LOL!

Two boys and a girl

Chris is (not ours we raised him for a few years though) 27, Justins 26 and Shelby is 15...

We just haven't had a chance to get to the Snow yet with her. I mean she was in it in Nebraska once, but there really wasn't anything like 10 foot drifts or anything... Real snow...

I guess you've worn a snow shoe or two, cause other wise you'd have to hop your but around to get anywhere.

Cool

I haven't heard or even thought of Polaris, ArticCat or many of the others in years.... Last time I was on a Snowmobile was a couple of years after the Kawasaki 440 Invader came out.. :)

I remember learning what Snow Balls was all about with the girl lived up the road from us. Hell I though ok, sure, you want to have a snowball fight? Linda just smiled and lead me off to the woods.. LOL

Her father still hates me to this day and that was some 38 years ago...

Friend of mine just quit drinking and has turned his life around. They were together 20 something years and married 8 of those years. She ups and moves out saying she is going to go discover who she is.

He asked why the hell she stuck around if she didn't want to be married to him anymore.

She told him she loves him, but not like a husband and didn't want to cause him to just give up, so now he's together she feels its her time...

odd, but I guess logical from her perspective..

They go on dates now and then, so who knows...

They had been together since High School... go figure

Nope...

there are about five of them running and rolling each other over and stuff..

I made the mistake of hand feeding them a while back and they decided they found a home..

LOL...

We've double pane argon gas filled in between windows, so the house is extremely quiet and it keeps my wife up, so she asks me to run my tree rats off when they get feisty at night...

Up in Maine we lived in a house with a Widows Watch on top of it. Calais was a town where they shipped out the Tall timber for boat making back in the Clipper ship days..

It was a cool house, but man when you went in the Basement and saw all those beam jacks holding up the house, scared the hell out of me!

lol

Or maybe he's just a bit upset that I wiped my bloody dick on his pillow after pumping his dog.

Sit. Stay. Then explain the concept of pillow talk. And telling the dog you love him during sex doesn't count. Even human females understand that. I think. I don't really pay attention to their response unless it's a BJ.
