a question:if i buy a lower half and an upper half(AR 15)do i have a complete ready to shoot gun once i put it together?i know,i should know this but i havent messed with these weapons whatsoever.

If you buy the complete uppers and lowers, then you are ready. Just look closely at the description of the upper, as many of them come without bolt carriers or charging handles.

As far as I know, yes...as long as they are complete uppers and lowers it should work. Also, my friend told me that an AR lower could be used with a different uppper...for instance. If I owned an AR15/.223-.556 I could use the lower and interchange it with a 6.8 upper. Of course, the magazine used would have to fit obviously, they could be interchangeable, just not sure. Of course I am no expert on this, so anybody that can correct anything I just typed...go right ahead.

WOW Stagarms have gone wayyyyyyyyyyy up. I remember when that rifle was only 450 kit then 80 buck receiver and FCG 50 bucks your ready with a complete rifle for 580.00. Times have changed.

So lets say you ordered this gun yesterday and the ban goes into effect in three weeks. But the expected delivery of these guns is a couple months out. Do you get your money back? I am sure you would not still get the gun.

First, I don't know about how that will work...but, I do know that Stag Arms does not charge your credit card (and I verified that it has not been charged yet)...it will only be charged when it is ready to be shipped out. As far as any ban, I would hope that if orders were made and the guns were ordered/manufactured by the company that the government would honor that with a grandfather clause of some sort. However, knowing what I have learned from this adminstration so far, I am not sure how that would work out. We will see...for me, I feel confident that my credit card won't be charged until the guns are ready for shipment and with the economy the way it is and probably will be for about a year at least I didn't think the Obama administration would want to basically fuck the gun companies that have all these orders stacked up/oversupplied with guns without buyers. It might be interesting to look back at the 1994 ban.
