Well, the thing about it is that still a lot of immigrants come to the US, like it so much versus back in their homeland, that they assimilate and become Americans...however, there those that do believe that we stole the land...so while it could happen that way, I doubt it. Islam is doing the same thing though and most of them don't adapt and dont' accept our beliefs and systems. The Mexicans have a lot more shared beliefs (Christianity for one and a major one).

Many mexican american veterans believe that all immigrants should do a tour of duty and take offense to them flying mexican flag. I fly the american colors. Also I get a lot shit from Mexicans because I say I am American. They believe this is Mexico and do not want to become americans. They want to take there land back by census population #'s.

They do not even want to learn english. Why should they the government gives them welfare forms in spanish

Being white, I got the lovely ability to sound arogant, heartless while having the air of "not knowing immagrant hardships" no matter what I say. However what I say is there is not a non-American race...just people that dont belong here beause they came here the wrong way. Even the "whites" came from elsewhere. American to me means you are living here because you believe in what we stand for and you want to help or make a contribution. I dont think immagrants should have to do military service because I like my Marine Corp the way it is, volunteer and "elite". To force people into the military would be to make Marines and soldiers that dont have the pride or the want to be the hardcore motherslapping badass's we need to be to be feared. I believe that if people were forced into the Marine Corp it would lower the integraty level of my beloved Corp. Now on the other hand, illegal immagrants shouldnt get together and march down the streets demanding better benefits and rights when they dont even blong here and some other country has got them on their roster.

is for the immigrants and minorities to have to work as hard as i do to support my family and keep my head outta the water ,not be handed a bunch of stuff that as a white male american blue collar worker i aint eligible for. it is called the american dream,not the american free ride!cause they sure as hell aint letting me on that bus!with social security busted and four children to put through school forget about retirement and a nice motorhome in arizona during the winter.i want a massive,dead before you hit the floor heart attack at 55 years old.by that time my body will be worn out from working and i'll probably be needing viagra so hell with it!someone bring me a steak and a baked potato with gravy and butter on it!!!

Actually, coming from Ireland to the US, it probably took a lot longer than one day to get accustomed to American beer...maybe when it comes to beer greasypaws never truly assimilated (maybe we should keep closer tabs on him???)
