bombs are available in our arsenal, some will mysteriously find their way to the Israeli Air Force, and that fact will of course be leaked to the Iranians. In the meantime, all "diplomatic" methods will be attempted so that we all appear to be civilized, in the attempt to get the Iranian theocratic leaders to change their rhetoric, and force Ahmedinejad to shut up. But it is doubtful that diplomacy or the really big bad UN harsher sanctions approach will get us anything but a not too polite "fuck-off".

I doubt that any conventional or even creative Western style approaches will convince a collectively insane Iranian leadership to cave in. So, if we do not want the Israelis to use their tactical nukes, we have to give them the penetrators and the US, UK and French intelligence to do the job, which one way or the other, they WILL do, without our permission. If some madman tells you you need to be wiped off the face of the earth, and he has the means to do just that, I doubt you would wait too long and allow him to make good on his threat. Neither will the Israelis.

the israelis are very tired of being told what to do by everyone else.they have done nicely in their dealings in the last few years with the arabs in Gaza and the west bank.They are in a position of being threatened repeatedly by the Iranian government and cannot back down.They will do what they feel is necessary.
