Hi everyone good evening
I am an Arms & Ammunitions Dealer in India & I am new for this forum .
hope you enjoy the site harvinder909!
Welcome to the site, hope you enjoy it!
business must be booming over there.......
I think you'll enjoy it. Lots of good guys, lots of talk about guns, girls & everything else you can imagine. Please fill out your profile, to indicate just where you're located. What's the name of your business? I hope you're doing great. What are the primary weapons in which people are interested? We have a continual battle in some places here in the US as to whether our citizens should be allowed to carry concealed weapons. Is there the same debate in India?
Harvinder Singh, pleased to meet you.
Welcome back to the land of the livin'!
when did you get out? lol
What's new Lucky?
high of 6 degrees above zero today, good to see you back onsite,ka
vast frozen wasteland. Geez, really that cold? It's been chilly here in Arkie-saw but nothing like that-----yet. Anyone been talkin' about serious target shootin'? Wal*Mart can't keep pistol ammo on the shelf still, I thought everyone would have their basements full by now.
I love snowy weather. Except in TN. It doesn't snow in that state, it slushes. And holy cow do Tennesseeans not know how to drive in the snow.
and have yet to find a group who really knows how to drive on icy roads. Seems like it takes them (and me) until Spring to figure it all out again then it's too late :<).
in Kalifornia. Complete Kluster fuck.
All Kalifornia needs is a little fog
to have a 60 car pile up
for those of us who learned to drive on gravel and mud roads. We may not be able to avoid losing traction, but we sure have plenty of experience recovering from the skids.
So slippery is fun for me. Something you never really lose. We have alot of dirt roads here and I still get a kick out of riding the berm...
San Diego county we had a fine time staying off the roads when the low-landers came to play in the snow. Talk about a fluster kuck!
a 1960 Austin Healey 3000 I should say Rustin Healey :<)
re-wire, install small block chevy, Warner T-10 close ratio, 9" Ford rear end, cross flow aluminum radiator. Now you have a car. It was a beautiful body and still is.
I blew it up twice in one year.
them at 7000 +/- Rpms.
Absolutely bone stock ones can be blown. I still have 2 sitting in my garage. One a close ratio, built for racing and the other a wide ratio Camaro box. God I loved shifting those things. Never let my foot off the gas, just punch the clutch & grab a gear.
Talk about a bad week. On 7 Dec. (i know) at 2000 hrs Mt. The sky fell, humtpty fell, pretty much our whole world got turned around for a bit. We were all just fine, storm was coming, but no big deal here in the Weaver Mts. HOLY SMOKES!! We had 85-95 mph winds (weather service) Lost half the shingles, the sat dish was was gone, no power for 18 hrs. I'm throwing a line over the porch to keep it from following the sat. dish to who knows where, Wifes yelling, Thinking (our hoping?) I'm gona go with the dish, and the porch. WOW! looked like a scene out of a Hollywood disaster flick.
The next two days were sorta walk'n around in a trance. Were pretty prepared for this sort of thing, as we lose power a lot, but this baby wore us out. I remember a typhon that hit while i was in the PI back in 67, and have ridden out a lot of monsouns in southern Az, but nothing like what we had last week. Bottom line is we just now(1415 AZ Mon.)got our computer dish up again, and you lucky guys have my company once again.
... I missed you guys...feel like poor runaways pop... will be on later !
glad to see ya back and to hear you all are alright.
We got off luckier than some of our neighbors, one couple had their roof blown off.. Lost some old growth trees, but nothing compared to others. I was worried bout the porch as it faces the wind (smart huh) but actually did get two lines over it, and secured. Ma nature got our attention, no question about it. Have i missed anything except Sam having a seizure of some type and changing his avatar?
Nothing happened. Everybody was waiting for you to come back.
I'm glad you & your wife are OK, but very sorry about the damage to your house (and nerves).
You needs a generator man. I have 2 gens and a back up sat dish, that is for my RV. I was always worried about electricity going out here in the middle of summer. one gen will run ac and the other is good enough for lights and such. Stove is Nat Gas. I could survive for awhile, wouldn't be happy, but could make it.
Unbelievable glad everyone is ok!
Man I know about storms. Several years ago
I heard a noise and looked at the cieling
just as the roof went and got to see inside
a tornado. Man that's awsome.
