jimenez J.A.NINE
I recently bought the J.A. NINE from a friend in a bind as result of the recession.I own a variety of high powered rifles, shotguns, and muzzleloaders, in short I own all long guns. I have thought for a while about a pistol for home security and when this situation arose I took "the deal". I gave him 150 for the gun, an extra magazine, original box, and holster because he said he had over 200 in it. Well now after researching online i am afraid to walk outside and shoot it because I read an article where a man was in wheelchair as result of firing a similiar weapon from the same manufacture as mine which then was then Bryco Arms which declared bankruptcy after a 51 million dollar lawsuit awarded to the injured man. Also post about parts falling off the guns while firing. Im sure some of the posts are propaganda but I cant help to wonder how much truth are in these other comments, and as far as the gun jamming Ive read that part of this problem can be resolved by choosing the right ammunition. Is there anyone out there that has expieriance with this particular make and model that can shed light on the subject for me? worm88 |

Nitris
Not to hurt your feelings there, but they are junk. Get rid of it.

thats a very broad reply have you had dealings with the gun or manufacture personally? seriously?

the jennings has been brought up before, please go thru the gun discussion forum and read what has been already brought up about the jennings.Nitris is correct in his statement, those pistols are just bad.My experience was with a jennings .22,which failed to chamber almost any round i put in it,and never fired off more than 2 rounds without jamming up.

I agree with them, try to sell the jiminez and buy something decent. If its all you have, so be it, but you're fishing at the bottom of the barrel. As for ammo, check out my reply on your other post. good luck!

It might make a ok paper weight, maybe. I would not want to have one as there have been issues with this POS make of and I use this term losely, firearm

MAN! Junk is an understatement. I needed to get some protection for concealed carry and funds were tight so I got what I could get at the moment til I could do better. I bought a JA380. I carried it around with me for about 2 months before I took it to the range for the first time. Let me tell You.........I fired two shots and the magazine flew out of the bottom of the gun and the 2nd casing was caught leaving the slide half open. Glad I never needed to depend on it.
Went straight and invested in a Glock.

Just reading the posts man...you gotta love this site, no mincing of words, straight talk only for you. I especially like where you tried to pry more info from Nitris, too funny. However, seriously even though I don't know shit about this gun I would suggest taking everyone's advice, sounds good to me.
