The Job- Urine Test

(Whoever wrote this one deserves a HUGE pat on the back!)

Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I
pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to
get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I
have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my
taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.
Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I
have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem
with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a
problem with helping someone sitting on their Ass doing drugs, while I work.
. . . Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to
pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?
Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don't.

I guess we could title that program, 'Urine or You're Out'.

I will bring this up

I am compiling ideas to share with my state representative. So far all I have is a suggestion that a bill be drafted to allow the seizure of the vehicle used by drunk drivers upon conviction. They can seize your car if it is used to transport drugs and they can seize your car if you are caught poaching, so why not lose your vehicle if you are convicted of DUI since you are putting people's lives in danger? I bet it would be a real deterrent. Anyway, back on topic. this is a good idea, and it has been added to my list of recommendations.

like your ideal about what to do with DUI drivers. It would work, and make them think if they have to buy another car after having a DUI.

and others have discussed this very thing. We have to take a urine test on condition of hire and I have to take one every time I get a physical for my commercial drivers liscense. It makes sense to me.

But you are a mean mean person to infringe on someones privacy. Who are we to judge the lifestyle of anyone? It a mentality for the democrats to cause dependency on the government from the cradle to the grave. So why disqualify someone from government dependency just beccause thet are on drugs? As long as they vote democrat who are we to judge.
They have rights but no responsibility.
thats the whole problem with the country. The over educated and welfare left want entitlments. We need to have responsibility with our rights.
Our founders just made that assumption.
