Just picked up a Ruger SP-101
found this gun at a local shop for 350. A guy got it for his wife. She shot it one time and sold it. Any opinions on this gun? i thought it was to good of a deal t pass up cause they retail for about 550. I also got a free Galco holster with it If guns are outlawed I'LL BE AN OUTLAW!!!!!!!!!
If guns kill people then beds cause pregnancy.

also it is a 2 1/2 in barrel with a concealed hammer and is a .357

I bought one of these for my wife and she did not like the trigger pull. I ended up using it as my back up piece and I really like it. I bought it at a gun shop outside of Mt. Vernon Washington for around 390 new in the box.

generaly regarded to as a good pistol. There are a lot of reveiws you can read about that particular gun. Price was fair not a steal but fair IMHO

i had one and hated the trigger. i tried a reduced spring package and that failed to light some reloads. no problems with factory ammo, but i didn't shoot it much.

Ruger makes good revolvers in general. I wouldn't have passed that deal up either. Good score.

A friend of mine owns one of these. I have shot it many times in pretty much all of the .357 and .38 loads. I liked it better then all of the other small frame revolvers ive shot. Will be buying soon as a backup...

$500.00 is way high for an sp101. They sell for $420.00 where I live. I almost bought one about a month ago. That said, you still did well. I think they are great little pistols. I wanted one in 327 mag.
