I didn't believe it until I heard it on the radio today. Mr Brown didn't think he did a bad job at governor in the 70's he's gonna run again.

I just remembered the website of Meg Ryan. She is the one that wants to fix Kali's problems. Probably just a stepping stone for the Presidency. The commercials sound good though. I'm going to check the site right now and see if I can nail down any 2nd Amendment stuff too
Just got the blurb from Meg Whitmans' site and this is what it says: "I am a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and our clear constitutional right to keep and bear arms. I believe current gun laws need to be enforced but we do not need any new restrictions on gun owners. Second Amendment rights need to be rigorously protected" Now that has my vote.

Well, I was just on the "Meg Whitman" website and like what I read. The problem is, we don't hold politicians accountable for their lies. I'm not saying she is a liar, but look at the previous "employees of the month". They have all lied at some point or the other. Kali is just a haven for lib special interest groups. This needs to change. All the tree huggin, global warming, green everything bullshit has to stop. Kali has the second biggest population but, our welfare obligation is 5 times higher than the next highest state. I like what is spelled out on the website, but, I am tired of trying to TRUST a politician.

I agree with you about Condy Rice. I would have voted for her for President.

I don't know anything about Meg Whitman, but you obviously have a 'thing' for Meg Ryan...it comes in your writing above!

Condoleeza

She is very intelligent...an intellectual, but once again and just like Obama, what has she run? I agree she would do great on National Defense, but running the economy needs to be handled by someone with a business background at least...but otherwise, a quality person.

What have any of the various presidential candidates run, except for Mitt Romney (if you mean businesses)? If you include governors, then the list expands. I certainly agree that we need an excellent administrator (which we're now lacking), but I'd also like someone who has ideas of their own. One of the big problems with Obama, as I see it, is that he had (and has) no innovative ideas - only campaign slogans and ambition. One of the tragedies to me is that most of our political candidates (and officeholders) are about the same. I have little regard, and less trust, for the vast majority of them.

We need someone who understands the free markets, is willing to actually work within the system and give incentives to people to start up and expand businesses. Obama is a child, with no idea...executive experience is what is needed. HE had none and Condoleeza has little also, that is all I am saying. She might do well, but at this point I am not willing to leave that to chance. I am not a huge Palin fan...except I think she is hot and I do believe she could probably do a good job, but she is not ready. She is better suited to help other candidates, gather up support and get money flowing in...but at least she has run a business, created jobs, understands economics and has run a state...she has executive experience. I am not against Condoleeza Rice, I am just not convinced. Overall I like Mitt Romney...but he has some skeletons in his closet too...he needs to be a bit more conservative. Don't forget he was the governor of Massachussetts when they installed Health Care there and that has failed and it's in the RED big time.

A true, dyed in the wool conservative cannot be elected, nor can a corresponding liberal. Someone who's moderate, who can work with both viewpoints, and both "sides of the aisle" will be necessary, both to be elected and to govern. I certainly agree that we need someone who knows economics. We needed that in 2008 also, which is why I couldn't vote for either Obama or McCain. As far as I can see now, the only probable candidate who has economic experience is Romney. Perhaps (hopefully) others will appear. We have plenty of time now before the election and selection cycle begins. The last thing we need is a strict idealogue.

Those two posts clearly show the problem with the Nation .. Obama is a child with little substance besides retoric.. He clearly has more ambition, than ethics, and has substituted slogans for ability.

On his big "appology tour" after taking office, the french labeled him "amiturish" .. Once again you see a case of his race working FOR him.. I honestly believe that if O was white, the media would be in line with the masses, and handing out pitch forks..

If and i can't believe it would come to this, but if Biden over rules the parlimentry expert, and allows the use of "simple majority"...the nuc option.. it might be time to fly the flags upside down.. I don't think the administration would allow this.. The only paralel thats close is when Nixon fired the special prosicuters and i think that one act more than any other led to his resignation.. all spelling disclaimers on high alert.

necessary to fix the economy. I've never owned a business, but the fact that over 80% of the work force is employed by small businesses tells me we need to make things easier for small businesses. Simplifying the tax code from a huge collection bigger than the Encyclopedia Britannica (sp) to a 3" 3-ring binder by having a flat tax for all individuals and businesses, and forcing congress to work within a budget seems to be the answer. I don't think we need experience as much as we need an iron-willed leader and congress who vote for what they think is right and not what they think will get them money from special interests. DAVID MARLOW FOR PRESIDENT!!!

"I have always been a soldier. I have known no other life. The calling of arms, I have followed from boyhood. I have never sought another." From The Virtues of War, by Steven Pressfield.
