Kel-Tec PMR 30
I was wondering if anyone owns or has shot the Kel-Tec PMR 30. My father got one because he loves 22MAG and wanted a pistol but the first 22MAG pistol created sucked. Then this one came out and he snatched it up and through only 2 magazines I have to say that this is a fun gun! Be Kind and Courteous to All That You Meet, But Always Have A Plan to Kill Them

This pistol is fantastic, actually, once you get used to the trigger break and sight picture, you will not miss.
30 rounds a mag in 22 Magnum is a lot of fire power when you consider it is a dead on POA (point of aim) shooter.
Light, great site radius, good feel in the hand... Kel-Tec got this one right....

One thing I really like about this gun is that you can actually keep a group while doing rapid fire. It is truly one of the best "just for fun" guns I have played with.

what stores carry them? last time i was at jay's they hadn't even heard of the Kel-Tec PMR 30. i want one bad, can't wait till the carbine comes out!!

Most stores carry them but in limited supply. They are mostly sold out. I called many a store until I found this one for the old man.

Keltec web site says the barrels have not been heat treated right. So, production is slow. But will pick up.

I have only heard good things about this pistol. From what I have heard it is perhaps the first great 22mag pistol.

In the early 90's I bought a grendal (sound familiar) .22mag It came with 20rnd clips and it functioned for about 6 clips.
The shop where I bought it told me to get bent, so I threw it away- got drunk and tried to fix it.
A company out of CA had the first .22 mag and the company was simply Auto Mag ( I always dreamed of owning their .30 carbine pistol)
and yes this pistol failed, but there are a few out there.

I love the ideas keltec comes up with, and hear nothing but good reviews on almost all their guns. But......my only problem with keltec is everytime they come out with an awesome gun, finding one is like a needle in a haystack. And when you do find that one their 30-50% higher than msrp from keltec. Its like they only have 3 guys trying to mass produce these platforms. Ive been on two dealer waiting lists for over two years for a PMR-30 AND I STILL CANT GET AHOLD OF ONE! Come on keltec, ive been hearing diffrent excuses of why their not in mass production, 1-barrel not heat treated right. 2-bullet keyholeing. 3-behind production due to holidays. But yet theres these "mysterious lucky dealers" that seem to have plenty of them goin for double / triple price! cmon
