If there was ever any doubt in your mind as far as kim jong ill sanity, put our mind at rest, he officially without any doubt what so ever a loony bird, he has cracked, gone over the edge of sanity. Of course many of us realized this long ago but now there is no doubting or refuting this fact.

Is NK really so stupid that they allow someone like this to remain their leader. One bit of credit you have to give kim jong ill is he is apparently a master of brainwashing.

What a joke, I don't think he even cares how little the world respects him or how outlandish stuff like this really is. Maybe the strategy is something like "I'm a crazy mofo, you fools don't know what I am capable of, I'll pop nukes like their candy if you keep pissing me off". The sad thing is with the obamination as TOTUS he just might give in and print them up a little package of $65 tril.

N Korea seeks $75 trillion in compensation

North Korean leader Kim Jong-il visits a military unit

Cash-strapped North Korea has demanded the United States pay almost $US65 trillion ($75 trillion) in compensation for six decades of hostility.

The official North Korean news agency, KCNA, says the cost of the damage done by the US since the peninsula was divided in 1945 is estimated at $US64.96 trillion.

The compensation call comes on the eve of the 60th anniversary of the start of the 1950-1953 Korean War.

KCNA said the figure includes $US26.1 trillion arising from US "atrocities" which left more than 5 million North Koreans dead, wounded, kidnapped or missing.

The agency also claims 60 years of US sanctions have caused a loss of $US13.7 trillion by 2005, while property losses were estimated at $US16.7 trillion.

The agency said North Koreans have "the justifiable right" to receive the compensation for their blood.

It said the committee's calculation did not include the damage North Korea had suffered from sanctions after its first nuclear test in 2006.

That's nice,

how about some compensation from that little weasel for the 33,665 American lives lost in the Korean police action?

I agree than Kim Jung Il is a total whack job, but he's in no danger from his "constituency". The North Koreans are totally brainwashed from the cradle onwards in many ways. Somehow they believe all the talk that "dear leader" is the most intelligent, most athletic, etc., etc., individual alive on the earch today. They believe that they are the Master Race; that they are superior to all other peoples on earth. They believe that their society is superior to all others. They believe than any problems they have are directly traceable to their enemies, chief among them being the US. They've had all of this, and lots more, drilled into them by parents, teachers, community leaders, etc., since they were born. They've never known anything else. The media is completely state controlled, so they cannot hear anything else. It's no wonder that outlandish things emanate from their government.

Heed my words, he will try to invade the South before he dies. We will be in deep and need to pull out of all middle east countries to avert his forces. This is serious guys. Often enough wild demands such as this is the prelude to war. Kim goes back to his people and claims that since the USA will not pay for their pain and suffering NK must act and take it by force. This kind of bs was common in the 1400's to the 1700's and caused many proxy wars that eventually led to major conflicts. So in my opinion Kim has not lost his mind, he's always lived in his own little world, but this gives him justification to invade the south. He knows we will do nothing to stop him. This could set off a few chain reactions in Asia.
