any good quality 1911 (S&W, Springfield, Kimber, Colt, etc...) with all of the bells and whistles will cost you close to a grand.... and other brands such as Wilson and Night Hawk and others will cost atleast a couple grand. Kimber is a good quality 1911 that comes with many features that less expensive 1911's don't have.

The Kimber Custom 1911 .45 is probably the finest pistol I have ever shot. Even with a 3.5 inch barrel for c.c., the recoil is minimal. I really can,t tell much difference in accuracy using a 3.5 or a 5 inch barrel at 25 yards.

Would give my left tesricle for that gun. I found a nice used one for 650 but can't afford it. I know they normaly run right at 1100.00
Would also love the Wilson Combat, those are SICK

I have a Kimber CDPII Pro and it is definately the best pistol I've ever owned. Tight, accurate, reliable, good looking. I love it. But at $1000.00+ they arent cheap.

I have a Kimber Tactical Ultra II, it is a fine weapon and shoots great, accurate aqnd trouble free. It is easily concealed. It cost about $1,150.00 and was worth the money. I have always wanted a .45 auto and finally purchased it 2 years ago. I made the right decision.

but what i ment was, they don't lose much value going from new to used.I've shot several Kimbers and they are very impressive. But like you said all the guns I buy are very impressive!!!!

what can you say high quailty equals high priced 9 times out of 10
Ironmike15
I think they offer very good value, even at the high price.
