Knife Sharpener

There are so many knife sharpeners out there, I don't mind paying for a good one. What gives you the best bang for your buck, I want to be able o also sharpen my kitchen knives as well as my hunting knives.

the other. I picked it up at Harbor Freight for about a dollar. I've been using it for 5 years.

This morning I got my NRA (expensive) Store email.
They offer a TACTICAL knife sharpener. What the hell is next, women's TACTICAL eye shadow
or men's TACTICAL jock itch powder??

Anyway, mine is pocket size and sharpens my big chef's knife and my pocket folding knife equally well.

Is it a stone? I see these ones with sandpaper belts, if they work, I would not mind spending the money.

I use

A 5 dollar sharpener I got at a paint store, used it on my pocket knife and got the knife blade scary sharp! So I tried it on my Buck 110, which has always been hard to sharpen, and that knife blade got sharp too! After awhile I had sharpened every knife I could find, from kitchen knives to my Bowie knife, they all got sharp, I mean they want to cut.

I use a Washita stone on my fillet knives for skinning fish but I guess the point of this is I don't think you will need a expensive sharpener to get good to great results.

The sharpener I have is from FORTUNE PRODUCTS,INC,

it's called the ACCUSHARP knife sharpener.
