Knights Shooting Sports is closed down for good and not being sold. Fed's searching for Operations Manager.
Well, I discovered today that Knights Shooting Sports is closed for good and not being sold. The Bid winner has backed out because of Lead and other Heavy Metals Leeching into Ground Water. EPA slaps a beginning fine of $500,000.00 with no clear idea of what clean up Fee's will total.
Khalid, owner operator of Shoot Straight Incorporated has pulled his bid and will not consider buying. Tiny, owner operator of Cole's Gun Store actually won the bidding war and pulled out leaving the highest bidder position To Khalid.
Pinellas County, the State of Florida and Fed's are now working together to track down the previous Operator of Knights Shooting Sports who has skipped town.
Pinellas County residents located near the shooting range are up in arms and have been for a while now. They want the Building dozed, the grounds cleaned and to have restrictions applied to the location so another Shooting Range is never allowed to operate in the area.
Knights Shooting Sports was a over priced, half baked operation which soaked up millions from the financiers located in London England. They made a short trip over to check on operation in the middle of last year and have not been heard from since.
The monetary impact to the County for the clean up will only make it harder for new ranges to open in the future. It is assumed at this time that the London Group is beyond the reach of local Government at this time so the County will be held holding the bill.
No sir, he fell into that bullet... Never argue with a stupid person. They'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!!
