Lancaster Arms
I just ordered Lancaster Arms AK, looks nice and based on the input from this board and some other friends, I went with their Russian Red model (3060). Cost of course is higher than you really want to pay, but in this market and not knowing how long they will even be available, I did it. Anyway, what I really wanted to comment on was the service from the salesman Mike that I received. Long story shorter (try) Credit card issues (unauthorized charges, so it wasn't accepted). I had the card canceled but still wanted the gun and they don't accept AMEX, so I called and explained the situation. Mike offered this suggestion...check, sent overnight and I could subtract the cost of the overnight from the gun price. I wanted to mention this, because even when I talked with him at first, he asked me what price was on the website. He stated that the price just went up, but as long as the website stated one price he would go with that. It seemed to me, after the fact I could have bargained a bit. So, in case anyone purchases from Lancaster, give it a shot. Especially if you order more than one...that was the first thing Mike asked me...how many.

I have a Lancaster 3060 too, and I bought it from Mike! thats some pretty funny stuff. I've met him at a few gunshows, and drove out to their warehouse to buy mine. anyway, I love the rifle. one of the best AK's I've ever shot. really solid, accurate, eats anything as expected. I've only put about 500-600 rounds through mine so far, but no problems what so ever. let us know when you get it. how long did they say?

Mike is a trip...without knowing me from Adam, he went into a tirade about Liberals, the people protesting against Sheriff Joe Arpaio, etc etc...he asked me numerous times if I wanted more than one..."better get them while you can" he told me...quite funny. He told me to call him back 30-40 days, from what he told me, they are quite busy. Seems like a good place to do business though, friendly, easy to work with, etc.
I am still in Kuwait, won't be home until July to shoot, so as long as it gets there prior to July, no issue for me. Side note; The guns I have ordered since arriving in Kuwait, have all gone to my father and he has filled out the paperwork and is the current owner. I called home the other day posing as Agent Johnson from the BATFE, my mother was a bit nervous, so I had to quickly tell her who I was.
