I would say one

Thats is cheap and easy to hide under a pant leg and no paperwork that links the gun to the officer.

Glock 22 is VERY common since it is such a reliable handgun. Alot of guys use the 27 as a bacik up gun

Other common ones are the Sig .40, HK USP .40 and 45

to PDs as guns that simplify the task. Reliable, simple, no safety button: Draw, aim, shoot. Mine just went with them. They allowed a trade-in of whatever service pistol they were using. The new Glocks cost $85.00 apiece.
