the M14 will set you back about 15K, but it'll be a blast

Is the 30-30 your looking for a lever action? If so, keep in mind that Winchester ejects out the top and Marlin out the right side of the receiver. This matters when considering the use of a scope.

An M-14 at 15K? I read that as $15,000. I know nothing about the price of a select-fire M-14, but I do know that a nice Springfield Armory M1A1 (semi-auto M-14) can be had for $1500+.

I believe that any government M-14's (I assume the Select Fire Keys as well)have gone to the SWA theater.

Man I love those M-14's. The best dam battle rifle ever made in my opinion. I've got the older Ruger Mini-14 but would love to have the real McCoy. Oboma-nomics has everyone cod blocked on buying goodies like an M-14.
