Hey there "Gunslot" gang.. I have some things bothering me quite a bit more than usual as of late and figure I could vent it here. I feel like Gunslot patrons may have some feelings of their own on the subject. Even though everyone knows how much value this country has lost over the last few generations. It has started to bother me at a rate in which may cause insanity, ha ha..
Recently I took a second job. So that I could further afford useless shit like electricity, gasoline , and food. When my backward ass generation tells me that I need to be buying. Brand name merchandise put together in other countries priced at 3 times it's worth. So that not only can I be accepted into my "punk-ass" couch dwelling , tit suckling , "rebel without a point" generation. But also that I may strengthen the economy of the rest of the world.
I have tried hard to accept that good ol' American quality is all but dead. Now I understand that those qualities do exist in this day. But you have to look for them. You can't just go to the store down the street and find quality and honesty. It seems like every business from "mom and pop" to privately owned franchises in America can't bid low enough. They fight so hard to sell out. They don't realize how much they have actually sold. It's like you cant even buy a burger anymore without that burger trying to bend you over and take your "butthole innocence" .
Ok I realize these are all obvious things that most of us have been fighting in one way or another . Either it be politically, privately, ranting, voting , or just trying to live life while trying to deal with what's happening around us. But back to my new second job. I started at a privately owned company that builds post frame buildings. or "Pole barns". I watched day after day as we charged thousands of dollars for buildings. That I would build the components for and load up so that they could be built. Every piece of lumber used to put those buildings together . I wouldn't use to build a bonfire. I felt horrible every time I gave a junk pile, to a crew of builders who couldn't give shit less about quality only commission. What really threw me over the edge though was when I met a certain customer..
This guy had stopped in right before our lunch hour. everyone else whom i work with .Just a small crew of shop guys 5 total and the owner/manager. All leave for lunch. So i was the only guy there. This guy had traveled from 3 hours away from where we were located , looking for the manager. I told him that he had left for lunch and wasn't coming back today. The man was instantly very frustrated and looked like he could just pop at any moment. He told me that he had called the manager and told him he was coming down to speak with him about a repair job on his building. Apparently the manager had told him that he would be in. I find out from further conversation that this man .
