M&P .40c ejector
Howdy all...im new to the site, glad to be here! I have a question for anyone willing to answer, I have recently purchased a M&P.40 compact and couldnt be more excited to own the gun. My question is about the ejector, upon my first inspection and fieldstrip ive noticed it to be fairly loose. I was just wondering if it is normal or if it is suspect to the problems I have read about others experiencing with this gun? |

sometimes they have a little give, but shouldn't be overly loose. Have you fired it yet? Did you have any problems?

to my knowledge, the ejector is not supposed to be loose, but I'm not that familure with the M&P. I would think a loose ejector could get caught up in the slide while firing and cause a jam

I have not fired it yet...I wouldnt classify it as being overly loose but I had to lift the slide slightly when i re-asembled the gun due to the ejector leaning back slightly. My only frame of reference is my first and only other semi auto that i own and it is a s&w sigma, I know they have a bad reputation but the siggy's ejector is solid....No play what soever...???
