Correct, it fires the 7.62x39 not the 5.45x39. Fired it last evening threw a huge fire ball every shot will try to get some pictures of it being fired. Loud as ever, yeah better have ear protection when firing it, the milled receiver makes a more solid feel to the weapon and is very accurate for a krinkov. One of my favorite AK's.
