Anybody use these on their Glocks? I have always had a problem with the stock release, but have never tried an aftermarket piece. Is this there an advantage or do they get in the way?

will catch in/on your holster. The other problem is when you draw it, it hits the release, out comes your magazine, and now you are in a gunfight with 1 bullet. Might as well have a knife. I have one that you can buy cheap!

Thanks samD

I think I'am going to test one out anyway. Lone Wolf has one for seven bucks, so if I don't like it no big lose.

No Bayonet

Don't really see the point of one on a handgun. If I've let you get that close, then I haven't really done my job!

Shooters World?

Not sure where it is, never heard of it before. I shoot at the Parker County Sportsmans Club in Poolville. If I don't want to drive the 45 minutes or want to shoot indoors I go to The Winchester Gallery in Arlington. My Brother also lives in Watauga, and I'am actually in North Richland Hills. Next time you make it down give me a holler, and we'll go punch holes in some paper!

Cool, Lucky

Maybe it will work out, and I'll take you out to shoot at the club!

If you want an extended mag release, buy the glock brand. I have an extended release on my Glock 34 (comes standard on it), and the only time it kicks the mag out when I don't want it to is if I lay it down on a table on the left side. The other problem with it is it can dig into the heel of your firing hand. I fixed this with a dremel tool, smoothed down the back two corners.

Can you buy one or do they just come on the 34? I've never seen one for sale anywhere.

I haven't done any shit to my G26...yet. There's a quote attributed to retired Delta soldier Larry Vickers that goes something like "If you want to treat your pistol like a lawnmower, buy a Glock". It may not be verbatim, but that's the jist. I'm the guy that quote really goes for. I don't yet own a gun for the looks or sexy lines or any of that crap. All of my guns serve a purpose, real or potential. If something on a gun doesn't feel right, I change it. I really think everyone who owns two or more guns should also own a dremel tool. Well, mine's the Crafstman rotary tool, but it's the same thing. The very first thing I do when I get a gun is polish all metal to metal contact surfaces until they're as smooth as the metal allows. My feed ramps on the Glocks all look like mirrors and I could actually chamber empty casings on my old Taurus. Shakleford, the G34 comes with extended mag release and extended slide stop lever. The Glock brand extended releases are at Midway USA for 3 bucks or so.
