Making your own

A lot of the guns on our streets, legal or otherwise, are converted replica's. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't converting a replica kind of count as making your own gun?

I'm asking simply to prove the point that there will always be guns in America, regardless of what the politicians may do.

Wow, I have

never seen a replica that could be converted into an operational weapon.

Well tracer, I think it's illegal to convert any replica to a working gun if and when It could be done. Replicas don't have serial numbers as far as I know, or at least I've never seen a replica with one, and a working gun with no serial number is very illegal.
