It's the dry that's bugging me. I heard on the radio today. "last measurable precipitation was in Oct of 2010". Calgon, take me away!
RandyMc
I agree with what you said in another post Vaq, Pray for rain in West Texas. We REALLY need it!

Yep, the trees are whistling for the dogs.

I don't think I've ever heard that one. I'll have to remember it.
Vaquero

I hear you, wife wanted me to paint outside of house today, maybe tommorrow, or whatever, just did it 5 years ago, then neighbor gets vinyl siding and all of a sudden we need different color. She don't ask for much, though. Putting up with an animal like me for 41 or 42 years now, I better get that right by june. I just go by old standby, I am a victimized nam vet. Just kidding. The dissavantages of having tree trunks for arms, as she states every day. JLC

hey have the out side pressard washed seal it good be for painting. If it's not framed (wood) home make sure all lose paint comes off while washing it. Still some good painters left in tampa and might give u great price being a vet. Will 0400 coming for me night night TY

My brother does home remodeling and has painters he uses when he is not up to doing it himself.
Also, I hate to say it, Angie's List does have some good contractors, but some of them are snotty pricks like their crap don't stink. I had one put the roof on the house and it was a pain in the ass because they kept telling me how it had to be done and I was telling them how it would be done. Then they had to borrow some tools and also got into the lumber I had in the garage for remodeling the inside of the house.
I've done just about all of it over the years, but screw that outside in the sun stuff for me now. All the anti rejection medications make me more susceptible to all Cancers so me and direct sun light for extended periods is out...
If you do it yourself, as Tallguy mentioned, you want to rent a 1500 PSI or better pressure washer and the Grenade attachment for pealing all old paint off. If there is any that has air between it and the building it will separate after painting though it might take a little while.

Did y'all get some rain this weekend? The lease got hit hard and it looked like it came from your way.
