Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit.

In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.

So here is my Question

Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?

Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their rump --doing drugs, while I work. . . .. Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check? I guess we could title that program,

'Urine or You're Out'

I have reasons for the things I do, just don't expect them to be reasonable

This is something that I have been saying for years. I have had to be fingerprinted for so many professional licenses that I have had in my working career, but we can't print a few useless slugs to verify who they are? Fuck the ACLU!

I too have to take random drug tests since I have a CDL licence. I have always believed in giving a helping hand but I refuse to give a handout. Unfortunately our politicos have never seen the difference. As bad as the roads and bridges and neighborhoods are shouldn't we have them working 40 hour weeks to get this hand out we give them. Then they couldn't find a job and they are damn well be qualifed to do this. Just takes alittle back muscles.

America is not at war. The U.S. Military is at war. America is at the Mall. If you don't stand behind our troops, PLEASE feel free to stand in front of them!

and told them about this idea, and haven't seen or heard anything yet.

"I have always been a soldier. I have known no other life. The calling of arms, I have followed from boyhood. I have never sought another." From The Virtues of War, by Steven Pressfield.
