Media blunder

I like Fox news, I was just watching Hannity. He was talking to the Lawyer for the Plaintiff (The U.S.A.) about Chicita Banana and it's dealing with a recognized terrorsit group. What caught my attention was they said that Chicita Banana was responsible for the illigel importation of 3,000 AK 47s and 5 million rounds of ammunition into Columbia. When I looked over at the T.V. they showed a bunch of Uniformed Soldiers holding H&K G3s. There were some guys in the background that had AKs, but I had to rewind it and look again.

This is more of a rant than anything, but I'm the knid of guy that will call a spade a spade. Maybe I'm too anal retentive about this stuff but it's misinformation and it drives me nuts.

You don't have to respond if you don't want to, I just wanted to get on the soap box for a minute.

The only way we are ever going to be able to get away from all the biases the media has against guns is to once and for realize that their entire agenda is to destroy the Second Amendment, so that the only people who will have weapons are the military and those who break the law.

This means that in order to carry a firearm we will be breaking the law. Then the media can post your picture all over the country claiming that you are an outlaw.

That's their real agenda.

They will never give up their own weapons, because their friends in Congress will see to it they get the protection they need, while the rest of us are on our own.

Congressman and Senators carry their own loaded weapons where ever they travel.

I have a friend whose mother was a roommate at Stanford with Diane Fienstein. She told me that they all carry loaded weapons, but they just don't want you and I carrying weapons.

T.V. channel

T.V. is losing some of it's power as the newspapers are, to the internet. I doubt we could raise the capitol necessary to fund our own T.V. channel and getting sponsors would be tough too. Maybe some firearms and ammo manufacturers, or one of the automotive groups. Companies like Cabellas, Scheels, and Bass Pro. might join up too. You never know, I just know nothing about it when it comes to that sort of thing. That would be a tough sell I'm afraid.

The NRA could do it

Those guys have the clout and the funds to start something like that up. When Spike TV first got started, that is what I thought was going to transpire. Lots of stuff that men wanted to see...fast cars, lots of half naked chicks, guns, fishing and hunting shows. But, it just wasn't meant to be.

Every media story I see has an underlining tone- 'the government must help us'
I understand the government needs to provide many things but we are being told to be dependent on a government for all solutions.
Both parties are guilty. The dems seem more about programs.
All I know is that everything that makes you less independent is bad. Welfare is the hand out example. Like feeding deer all year then waiting for them to come looking for food during deer season.
We seem to have a generation that is helpless. The military taught me to be self sufficient and responsible. I did not have a mom or dad which is the cause- parents need to emphasize responsibility and self sufficiency. If not for the military, my views would be different very different.
I think the media wants this dependence where we can not think for ourself and require the TV to tell us what to buy, what to value and who's to blame. Consumerism mind control style?
What cha think.

I would like to bring to your attention the fact that technology through the internet is making television broadcasting available to anyone anywhere. Through the website ustream.tv it is now possible to broadcast a Second Amendment type of Television broadcast to everyone with an internet connection.

No special equipment is necessary. Simply using a remove video camcorder and an internet connection allows anyone to broadcast their message.

Take a look at some of the various types of programming on this website and then seriously consider putting together a weekly broadcast, and make it available to everyone.

Sincerely,
