there are just so many!
1. In Harm's Way
2. Where Eagles Dare
3. MASH the movie of course
4. Schindler's List
5. Blackhawk Down, but only because of the music, especial the song, Minstrel Boy. "...the minstrel boy sang loud and sang free, come my warrior brothers come rescue me!" Btw the lyric to this song is different in movie than on cd.

In case you not know, word Tora mean Tiger in Nihongo. Tora Tora Tora were the code words for the butcher Admiral Nagumo that he have achieve position to make attack on Pearl Harbor with complete secrecy. Americans not aware of his presence and so from Admiral Yamamoto, these words give final order for Nagumo the butcher to proceed with first wave of attack. First code words were Climb Mount Niniataka, (there are dozens different spelling to this word btw) which meant, all is is quiet at Pearl Harbor, now turn into the wind and ready your strike planes and await final code words to proceed! Nagumo the butcher follow orders to the letter. he order his six strike carrier to turn into the wind and to ready the strike planes and fighter escorts on the deck. Nagumo the butcher advise Admiral Yamamoto that his strike force was ready and he await final order. Admiral Yamamoto on receiving this from Nagumo the butcher issue final code words, Tora Tora Tora! Tiger Tiger Tiger! Nagumo turn to his Air Boss and say, these word, "Commence Launching!" and Pearl Harbor was doomed, but only for a short time.

Now that it was brought to my attention that clicking on a comment takes you directly to that comment on the first page, but not if it's on subsequent pages, i hate multiple pages. I didn't notice it before, now it pisses me off.

Full Metal Jacket was the best basic training/boot camp movie of all time. The last part when they're in Vietnam sucked ass. Not a good war movie.
