MILL SPEC OR NOT?

Saw this tonight at wally world $650.00 can go on layaway it has not rubber butt cover just the m4 stock,no sights,and not mill spec.Just a stripped down AR15. The colt had every thing was mill spec $1100.00. SO WHAT ONE YOU THINK OR NOT AT ALL FOR BOTH?

If you have the means, get the colt (or another good quality brand). You won't be sorry.

If you don't have the budget or just want something to shoot shit up with, the dpms will be fine. Don't worry about the stamp on the side of the receiver. Just shoot it till it dont shoot no more. There are a few easy upgrades you can do to reduce the chance of failure. BCM sells a extractor upgrade kit for $5. make sure the gas key is staked and you'll be good. You'll still need sights though. S&W also makes a sport model in that price range that there are decent reviews on but not sure if Wally carries them if you need lay away.
