How far away from home are you? Used to drive me nuts being away from momma for more than a little while.

couple of hours. Better than 5 as was in Oklahoma.

Dropped off for a minute. Had to do that ctrl/alt/delete thing... Had some corned beef hash, 2 poached eggs, grits and toast. Should be a good day.

I have tried them every possible way, my sil in from Mississippi and I just cant stand them same with polenta (italian grits)

How hard is this to understand? Grits are a breakfast cereal-type food. Do you put cheese, salt, or pepper on oatmeal? No. How about on cream of wheat? No. Malt-o-meal? Nope. Then why the fuck would you put it on grits? Sugar, syrup, and butter. It's supposed to be sweet, IT'S A BREAKFAST FOOD!!!!!

so is regular cold cereal like Smacks or Cocoa Pebbles. But you don't put butter and salt on the cereal just because you're eating it at 0330 while drunk as shit on Michelob Amber Bock and screwdrivers, do you?
