as to your question is not much to go on. ryo know what the first rifle is that you are talking about. there are many good expert here who can answer this question for you, but the second rifle ryo have no clue what you are talking about. do you want rifle for hunting, or military rifle or rifle for target practice or plinking ka what is purpose that you want these rifles for and ryo and many others here can most likely help you better. ryo is very new to shooting. only started back in may after get first rifle for 16th birthday. now have 2 rifles and 1 pistol.

Welcome blackmercury, there is no answer to your question. We can give you our options but that gun might not suit your needs as well as they did ours. First of all do you have any experience shooting guns? How big are you? Can you handle a kick from a more powerful gun, like a 20, or 12 gage. I wouldn’t use a 4/10 for deer, a 20 or 12 would be much better. a 4/10 will take down a deer but the shot will need to be better placed. The 12 or 20 gage will cause much more damage. Also the shells for the 20, 12 gage are cheaper than the 4/10. A .22 is cheep and fun but you can’t shoot anything big.
If you want a rifle for deer then I would suggest a 30/30 my favorites are the Winchester 94, and the marlin 30/30. a real good idea is to find someone you know that has some guns that they will let you shoot to see how they feel. If you can find someone that likes to hunt and knows about guns, we usually will talk about them for hours, so getting info will be easy. Hope this helps any more questions post them, I’m new to this sight but from what I’ve seen everyone tried to be helpful.

Welcome to the site. Like LD and smithw45 said there are a lot of anwsers to the question you are asking. One is what state do you live it? No hunt deer in must state they have a min. caliber you can use to hunt. Like smithw45 said, I would find someone your know and see if you can shoot some of theirs to see what you like.
For deer hunting a 30/30 or the .243 are good rounds to start out with. If you have more question just come on back and ask we will be happy to help you.
