I stopped watching CNN years ago, unfortunately while living in Iraq on military camps we don't have control over what is on AFN (Armed Forces Network), so today I watched Fredericka Whitfield interview a lady from Saint Anslem College, a Ms Donahue, I believe. Ms. Donahue made two false statements that were completely ignored by Whitefield. This type of stuff is exactly why I stopped watching CNN in the first place and is proably part of the reason Fox has done so well versus other news stations. Ms Donahue said that the Arizona Law concerning illegal immigrants is controversial partly because it was going to be hard for police to determine who to pull over because it would be hard to determine who was illegal or words to that effect. However, the police must pull over someone first for some other infraction...so what she stated is misleading at least, if not totally false. Whitfield didn't know the law or just didn't want to challenge her guest...this is completely wrong. Next, Donahue alluded to Bob Bennett running as a third candidate in Utah (Independent), but from what I have seen and read, Utah law does not allow him to run as a an independent candidate because the deadline has already passed for that. In addition, his only recourse is to run a write-in campaign, which I am pretty sure he won't since he wouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning. Accuracy in reporting, commenting etc, while it seems to be something lacking across the board should be a goal...I hope you will correct this information for viewers. Of course, you would need to care about accuracy in the first place and less about pushing forth views.
