the laminated one's (third photo, 3rd and 4th from the left)? My personal favorite is the 2nd from the left, it was manufactured in 1938 and I count two dings on the whole rifle, straight as an arrow and the cheapest one of the bunch.....The irony.....

it is interesting, the Arisaka's action is damn near identical to the Mauser in many ways, I will take some detailed photos tomorrow. Considering the time, I guess that's not real strange, the Germans and the Jap's were definitely communicating in the late 30's and early 40's....History is fun, if not expensive....lol!

on the 91/30 sniper, maybe if the price stays reasonable, ya just never know! I bought two 91/30's for good measure along with my M-44, I would like am M-38 but they are un-obtainium , I will keep looking!

really? I look around tomorrow. When I picked both of mine up there were just as many of them as the 44's. The regular 91/30's are the most plentiful though. I hope you get that sniper, those are just plain cool, and with the svd...

that is the 'cat's ass' as far as I am concerned. I also have two cases of 'Tannerite' coming so that ought to be a good combination, ROMAK3 and Tannerite at a couple hundred meters!

get a RPK.I have one that is great fun.an RPD is the same thing but belt fed.fun even better.the RPK uses AK mags and drums.
