General Stanley McChrystal (ret) is a general officer of distinguished service. He never showed a talent for humor, but as reported recently, he will become a legend among our general class officers for the following rapier-tongued wit:
When summoned to the White House by the POTUS, he was aware he was being fired. He sat face-to-face from his CIC[POTUS] and accepted his removal from service, handing his resignation letter to his boss. Saying nothing more, he stood, saluted smartly, about faced, and strode toward the office exit without smiles or small talk. As the General approached the door, the POTUS addressed him saying, "you know General, I bet if I were to die tomorrow, you would come and 'piss on my grave' ".
And the General turned, and answered: "NO, Mr. President, I promised myself NEVER again to stand in line for anything"!!
Too old to fight, Too old to run, guess that's why I carry a gun! "would someone show this asshole the way out of town".[Rabbi Avram Belinski-aka "The Frisco Kid"]
