New Laptop Problems
I bought a new H-P mini running XP for travel. I have 2 problems. It came with a trial of Norton Internet Security. I didn't want that as I have Norton 360. I attempted to install 360 & got a message that the previous Norton would be deleated (which it said it did). I was asked to reboot and the same thing happens. If I remove the 360 CD, it refused to do anything until I insert the CD. I can minimize 360 and continue with the computer. I tried control panel/ uninstall and I can't uninstall (360 is shown). The screen just blinks once. #2 - I tried to load my ISP software and get an error message "remote access needed - see windows help". I tried that and could see any install prog. Any help appreciated, It's too late for me, save yourself. |
