I've been looking around the site for a while and like some of the others I finally decided to join.
I'm a retired Army guy from FT. Campbell. I've been recently shooting a Mosin Nagant I picked up. I shoot my AR-15 and my 03 Springfield as much as I can also. I'm looking at picking up an FAL later this summer. I would have bought it already but I've been buying AMMO and having some gunsmith work completed on some others. I guess I'm a PV2 again, oh well I had a lot of fun as a PV2.

Thanks Reaper308

I see we both like the 'Don't Tread on Me'.

I just got finished ordering another Mosin Nagant from AIM. Those rifles are addictive, especially for the price. I also order a can of light ball for it from SGAmmo. Hopefully it'll all arrive next week. Thanks again for the Welcome.

Hi CJT

Welcome to the site. I like the gadsden flag myself, but I think it needs to be updated. It needs the snake updated to something more menacing, maybe coiled around a "black gun", and the motto changed to read, "PLEASE, tread on me!!" :)

Check this out

I was looking at some t-shirts and came across this pic. It's definitely more menacing and it's wrapped around an AR.

I like it!

I like it! That's kind of what I was envisioning.
Although, I like the snake on 702CitizenArmory's av a little better.

nagants

yea, I have 5 myself (2 91/30's, 2 M38's and a M44). They're great shooters for the price. I just get tired of cleaning them after shooting corrosive mil surp ammo through them, so I've been sticking to brown bear, silver bear or golden bear lately. Nagants

I'm going to buy some more of the surplus for just holding onto. I clean my guns after I shoot, but it's not part of the fun of shooting for me. So far I have the 91/30 that I just ordered and 1 M-44. I like the looks of the Tokarev but I haven't researched it much. Later on this year I'm going to see about picking up an FAL.

Welcome, CJ

Active army here, did my first five years as 11B in 3/327, but they got folded into a new brigade, so my ERB now says 1/506. I don't know, weird. Anyway, I'm a dirty MP now. Welcome to the site, sit back and have fun.

Hiya CJ, meets and greets...

Runs is one nasty bitch that gargles with Masingale and douches with 90 weight. But over all pretty good peoples long as he got to screw with the Hadji's for a bit.

No sir, he fell into that bullet... Never argue with a stupid person. They'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!!

I don't douche

I'm a guy, so it's called an enema. And I use CLP. And Hoppe's #9 as cologne. And olive oil as JO lube. Got that idea from one of our guests here.

Oh, BTW...

Not to get all sappy or cliche but, seriously, thanks for your service to our country. And look, now your SSG already! :)

That goes to all you others too that are serving or have served. Thanks. I'm sorry I didn't pull my weight.

Thanks Saint

Being in the Military was actually what I wanted to do since I was 7 yrs old. I did 21 yrs and some change. I met some really incredible people and made lifelong friends. I could have done without some experiences but its a package deal. I will never complain about anything I volunteer to do and looking back the military was a huge adventure. Yea, I just noticed I'm a SSG. Cool

Retirement is great

I was very unsure about retiring in 2006, but it's all worked out great. I miss it sometimes. But as I got older and add a few injuries, I wasn't having much fun anymore. When I didn't enjoy going in anymore it was time. Best of luck to you and your retirement.

Don't like CLP?

I love the stuff. I have a few tubes of LSA, now I just need a MK-19
