new from Montana

Hello all. I am glad I ran across this site. My wife and I are avid hunters/shooters and we enjoy guns. Like I tell everybody, guns are like lays potato chips. You can never just have one. Looking forward to discussing my favorite topic!

Thanks,
Blaine and Michele

Oh, by the way, welcome to Gunslot, happy to have you.
You'll find just about all the different enthusiasts here but lots of chatter as well, that keeps it friendly like sitting around the livingroom BSn with friends.

Thank you daisy cutter, and yes that is Michele. That is one of our favorite guns she is holding. I wish I would have found this site earlier. I was looking for a new 5.56 to add to our collection and I ended up ordering one online this past sunday morning. It is a DPMS Panther Bull Twenty 223, 20 Inch, A3 Upper, Bull Barrel. I wish I could have had some input on it before I bought it. Hopefully it will perform nicely. It was only $824 and the wife liked it also. I chose the stainless because it will pretty much stay in my pickup. I always run across fox and coyote running around on the ranch and the 22 I have in the truck is about wore out. I think the panther will hold up nicely in the pickup. Besides the coyotes we have very large prarie dog towns scattered throughout the ranch and I think this gun will be perfect for picking them off.

people who are into that category of weaponry. They're always looking for someone who will listen to them talk nonstop about their mouse guns :<)
Though I've done quite a bit of rifle shooting, targets and competition I'm more into pistols.
You're a cattle rancher? I passed through your thriving metropolis several years ago, like the area.

Lunchbox..

Big welcome to the site.. join in as you see fit.. We're glad to have you sir..

I've got this picture of Daisys Gkids trying to ride the bikes dear old Gramps has thrown a few spot welds on.. Actually a nifty way to keep the young'ns in the yard.. weld a 2" dia pipe between the bars, course the bikes are facing opposite directions.. bout 6 feet of pipe will do..

I'm actaully liking this idea.. This is a perfect marketing idea.. talk about a babysitter, AND.. best way to start ridding a bike, put a 45 degree down tube on both of them, and about as steady as anything going.. This is one great idea guys.. barf bags are optional..

Welcome, Blaine!

Oh, and Michele, DAMN! Make yourselves comfortable, pull up an ammo crate, and stay a while. :)
