This may be the prime contribution from this POTUS, and thus, should be taught in all of the major MBA and Organization Behavior Graduate School programs.

"WHEN 'LEADING FROM BEHIND' IS EMPLOYED [which in this case many times means sitting on your ass], WE HAVE UNFORTUNATELY PROVEN THAT ORGANIZATIONAL MALAISE SETS IN, AND LEADS TO INCREASING CHAOS AND AN INABILITY TO SENSE POCKETS OF DANGEROUS DECISION MAKING/ ACTION STEP PROCESSES. SUCH MALFUNCTIONING, INEVITABLY LEADS TO ORGANIZATIONAL DISINTEGRATION, AND AN EPIDEMIC OF INDIVIDUAL AMNESIA AND/OR PATHOLOGICAL DENIAL. IF THIS HAPPENS, IT WILL BE NECESSARY TO DEVELOP A DICTIONARY OF SNAPPY RESPONSES TO QUESTIONS FROM VARIOUS INVESTIGATORS.

(1) You get to create a closer new alliance of US enemies/opponents, as in:
North Korea/Iran/Hizbollah/Hamas/Muslim Brotherhood/Covert Al Qaeda Syrian Rebels/HQ Al Qaeda boss,Zawahiri and the Taliban--who all believe THEY have the USA on the run!!
(2) You get to be internationally "spat upon" by Vladimir Putin, who almost on a daily basis, gives the POTUS the middle finger in the media, and causes #1 above to laugh their respective asses off.
(3) You get to cause our international allies to lose confidence in a strong, decisive USA, who among other things looks like it will continue to descend into comedic chaos.
(4) You get to lose the confidence of Israel, and push her toward Russia.
(5) You get to lose influence with the moderate middle eastern [ME] Islamic countries, especially Turkey and Jordan, and make ME peace possibilities more and more remote.
(6) You get to show the Chinese that the USA can continue to be internationally conned, because it is apparent that the PEOPLE of the USA will continue to allow THEMSEVES to be conned, by a POTUS who is a charlatan.

If our readers do not care for this posting, I hope the NSA will enjoy it!!

I agree so now?

How do you get the average person to not only care about this, but to act in the right way?

My gut feel is the "average person" does not give a rat's ass, as long as the current administration continues with handouts and goodies.
However, IF the Benghazi debacle, the IRS scandal, the NSA [ "not wittingly"] citizen monitoring scandal, and similar sins of commission or acts of incompetence continue to burgeon, I believe the House of Representatives will ultimately be goaded [by the cumulative effect] into doing their duty: namely, initiating articles of impeachment, to be tried by the Senate, per the constitution.

From a purely political standpoint, If the Republicans retain the majority in the House, and regain the majority in the Senate, there are enough young, tough-minded people in both chambers to make such a thing happen sooner rather than later.

In my opinion, we have long passed the threshold of "high crimes and misdemeanors",on the part of elected and appointed officials of the Executive Branch.

Lets say the house does move on impeachment, will it go anywhere in the senate? Will this not make him a martyr in the eyes of the left and build sympathy with the middle. This is a culture war and the traditionals are losing. As with any war, if you have the wrong strategy and tactics, then you will lose. Your approach is to take all this head on. This is a battle for hearts and minds. Traditional values is the hard but honest path in life. Most people are looking for the easy path.

This is not a battle that will be won in one epic episode, but piece by piece.

Yes--like a series of

Watergate investigations which led Nixon to resign, and Clinton excesses which narrowly missed in the Senate.
I do not view this as a war, and therefore do not feel responsible for strategy and tactics in the ordinary meaning of those concepts. If you are saying that the young conservatives will be unable to make it happen , as they say in the great graduate schools throughout the USA, "you may be right" [that is the extent that their liberal intellects permit]. I believe the House will do its sworn duty, in each case warranting such action. If nothing else, a public series of trials in the Senate serves to educate, even if the individual verdicts are not what the conservative orientation might have preferred. Each trial will constitute an epic episode by itself.

I do not foresee failure in the "battle for the hearts and minds", any moreso than did the founding fathers , when the sentiments for independence from England ran 1/3 for, 1/3 against. and 1/3 undecided.

Hand Outs

LLE has it right, those getting hand outs, only care about that, period. All they want is more hand outs, and don't care how they get them or who gives them out.

the "hard way'.....insistence by the electorate on draconian cost cutting legislative initiatives, that will include drastic reductions to so-called entitlements.

I'm all for drastic cuts to entitlements. The problem is that people want the other programs cut and not the ones they like or get. At his point, I would just shut the whole government down and swing a big ax. However, the electorate has shown little stomach to do this.

Without term limits we will never get anywhere, and the current elected officials would never do it on their own.

If we can get rid of--

a $10 billion a year oppressive, free-spending bureaucracy, we might be able to make entitlement restructuring much more viable.
Flat federal tax, anyone??

Yes!

20% for everyone. 15% goes to the fed and the rest is divided to state and local. Then force the various governmental bodies to live within that budget.

why let the Feds get their fingers in the pie?? Why not let the States legislate for their own needs, and decide distribution to the Counties and for Local needs ?

live within that "budget" since the flat tax legislation would include a provision that would prohibit deficit spending. Thus, if Congress were to attempt to pass an expenditure that exceeds revenue, they would be committing a prima facie illegal act, and the expenditure legislation would be null and void.

They would vote on some emergency provision, they have done similar things already. I trust none of them, with the exception of a few. You would think the stink of it all, would get to enough people to make a change.

circumscribed in the Flat Tax legislation language, and would have to prohibit [by law] raiding another budgeted line item account, as has been done in the past with Social Security.

the wonder that is Washington, DC. A place where laws are made and broken by the same people on the same day.

We on the right-of-center will continue to lose ground if we don't fix our ability to convey our message to the masses. Blacks and Hispanics, as a group, tend to have conservative morals. Most people in this country tend to have a similar set of values. The problem is we have allowed the left to control our image and stereotype us as a group of old, stuffy men who light cigars with hundred dollar bills or swastika waving nut jobs who want to stockpile weapons and shoot people while screaming "If it ain't white, it ain't right".

We are right on almost every issue, but the Republicant's are seen as our voice and the issue of gay marriage, abortion, and drugs are killing us because they're wrong on those. One of the biggest issues I have with the left is their belief that they know what's best for us and they want to legislate everything from the words we use to how we parent our children. Conservatives are superior in that we use logic and not emotion in legislation.

Welcome back, Runny

RIGHT ON......... IMO, it is time for a viable, cohesive "THIRD PARTY". Perhaps the activists among us can coalesce one, around people like Dr. Ben Carson.

Would it not be refreshing to have an Executive Branch, run by an accomplished, brilliantly innovative person who is NOT a politician, but who offers an open, undisputed TRACK RECORD of education and experience second-to-none?

When half the country is on some sort of welfare, and add to that, the fact that they feel that not only do they deserve it, they want more. The mayor in Philadelphia, who most times is an idiot, once said something that was true. He claimed that "you can have as many kids as you want, what you don't have a right to, is have other people pay for them". Well the left went crazy and made him take it back. Of course they not onlt have the right to have as many kids as they want, and for other people to pay for them, They want housing, medical, schooling, phones, food, clothes, police services, fire services, ambulances that they use as a taxi service, you name it, the list goes on and on.

Remember, the problem with socialism, is that eventually, you run out of other peoples money.

but I still want to try and run for POTUS in 2020. My goal is a million votes. One million people who say "I want this guy". But I'll settle for some of those votes coming from people who say "I just don't want the other guys". Hell, I'll take votes from people who say "I have no fucking clue who this guy is, but his campaign slogan is funny". My campaign slogan?

Marlow for President!! Like he could do any worse!!

You got my vote already. I do think that this whole 2 party debacle is killing the country, but we have to blame ourselves. We (Americans) are so worried if we don't vote for "our" party, the other guy's going to win. But, IMO, I think this is what they want. "The man" has got us playing a game of let's you and him fight and in the mean time, they're taking turns lifting our wallet and ass raping us. We really need to get a 3rd party to get a chunk of votes. Even if they don't win, if it's substantial enough, the other guys might start worrying.

And the deal with the leeches not voting away their government cheese is exactly why our founders didn't believe in or establish a democracy. It's why the electoral college is a good thing. We have removed many ideas and balances the founders put in place and we are reaping this now. The founders knew that two wolves and a sheep deciding what's for dinner is bad, but two wolves on a leash and an armed sheep is good. That's why the constitution and an armed citizenry to defend it is needed in a truly free republic.

But outside the leeches unwilling to exchange their goodies for liberty, the other problem (and the greatest benefit to the enemies of liberty) is that even those of us that recognize the great gift of liberty and what it takes to keep and maintain it, it is hard to motivate oneself in a singular manner and give up the luxuries of an air-conditioned living room, with fresh water on demand, and devices to entertain ourselves during all waking hours. When (wording chosen deliberately) these luxuries are taken or otherwise gone, then we will be willing. But will it be too late then?

Founders

The founders were wary of having a strong central government, what we have now is what they were afraid of. They also talked about how absolutely crucial it was to having an educated electorate. That ship has sailed a long time ago as well, I ask the liberals I work with how they felt about the Benghazi issue, they think he works for the president and has something to do with Obama care.
