ebear, when your itch flares up, try hydrocortisone cream. Or go to the hospital and they can give you a shot or a week's worth of pills to take care of it. Jumping in to a conversation doesn't stop the itch.

try Ben Avery shooting range (outdoors, by lake pleasant)
Rio Salado sportsmans range (outdoors, clear over on the east side by me)
Caswells (indoors, mesa)
Scottsdale gun club (indoors, scottsdale)
don't know of many on your neck of the woods, ben avery is the closest. why don't you just go to the desert?
