NFA Weapons and Weapon production
I have been reading on what is required to produce standard firearms, and also to produce NFA weapons. I have talked with people that are licensed to manufacture these weapons, and keep getting conflicting stories. Does anyone KNOW the steps required to do this? I have been told everything from "if you do the paperwork, pay the taxes and fees, and pass back-ground check your good" to " You have to open a gunstore and show proof of profit for X number of years before you can apply to build" I'm not looking to become a Bill Wilson or anything, but would like to "legally" build and perhaps sell firearms I have built. __________________
