Look, I hate to do this. I'm going to be gone this weekend (one gun class, one show) so I won't be able to shepherd this through, but here's the deal: Nimrod is not sylvan, in my opinion. His politics are opposite sylvan's. Nimrod has difficulty communicating. I have corresponded with him. I cannot in good conscious give away what I believe I have learned, but the issue is not just English. I'm asking you all to give him a little slack and see what develops. I may be wrong, but I'd rather err on the side of giving him some slack rather than the opposite. I know we were all severely pissed at sylvan, so that's why we're quick to jump on Nimrod, thinking it was sylvan all over again. Let's just give it a try, ok? See you on Monday. i think the Russian horse thing has to deal with mythology. But anyhow I don't believe that nimrod is another sylvan... I'm sorry that some of you think he's a fucktard, but he is trying to communicate to us so he doesn't know english but I've seen him correct his posts when they didn't make sense. He's trying to work with us on here, while we're doing quite the opposite. Oh well it doesn't seem like he's communicating valid points right now, but we all do stuff like that.

but, he must have known that his communication skills are not very good (in English), so before he started posting he should have explained that he doesn't speak or write English well, that would have cleared up a lot and people would have been easier on him...

And it was only yesterday that I pointed out that he was using a translator to communicate to us... really a day is enough time to figure something like that out... so how can he tell us in english that he doesn't speak english clearly enough so we'll understand... I think we've all just been a little dense on this issue...

I never saw the elephant post, but yeah it seems he is gone. The poor guy just couldn't translate stuff right, it's not a crime, at least he was trying to talk to Americans thats more then you can say for the rest of the world.

Looks like he's gone. I believe he is autistic to some degree with asperger's syndrome. We were actually beginning to communicate in private messages--actually getting some points across. You just need some patience. Probably a moot point by now....

he sent me MANY messages, and I could understand what he was saying, even though it wasn't proper english. He was apologizing for the name calling and wanted people to stop harassing him. I cleaned up some of the remarks that people made about his sister at his request, but I guess he's gone now.

I disabled his account because he was uploading content and doing things that had nothing to do with guns. I also received a number of messages asking to do something about him. If you think I should re-enable his account that's fine, but he needs to stay somewhat on topic.
