If you can have only have ONE weapon ( personal carry, home defense, back up for hunting)

Simple, Stupid Proof, and the 45 is a bad ass round

If you carry a gun, people call you paranoid. Nonsense! If you have a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about?

an AR15, I want to kill the zombies way before pistol range.....I'm like a little kid, I want all of my weapons, it would be very hard for me to settle on just one but if I had to I would choose my compound bow because carbon fiber arrows are reusable and ammo is not.........

an M1A squad scout. I want to kill zombies way before AR15 range. If I can get them to line up correctly, I can take out 2 or 3 with the same projectile

As long as we are fantasizing I'll take an M134 with about 60 trillion rounds of ammo, I want to saw those zombies in half.

Nothing is as risky as certain failure.

Let me have a double blade axe and I'll build
my shelter and make myself some weapons.

You can't do that with a gun

If only 1 weapon were permitted I would keep my POF .308 with 20" barrel and 2-16X Counter Sniper Scope...

This weapon can not only reach out and touch someone, or a deer... But close quarters is still possible due to the 2 power beginning magnification on the scope...

Need to stop a truck... the .308 will stop and engine through the fender...

Combat situations provide for instant acquisition of gear and accessories for as long as there is someone trying to kill you and you kill him first you can take his items as your own and thus create a superior array of tools at not real cost to yourself...

Arm yourself with something reliable and accurate and grab what you need in an emergency from there... Just remember not to bother with odd calibers like .338 Lapua and 6.8 while being an incredible performers they are expensive and not existent on a battlefield... Stick with NATO rounds and you will appreciate your decision down the road...

Just my humble honest opinion....
