Optics ideas?

Looking for ideas on what to put on my new AK! Im not really looking for a magnified scope but just something besides iron sights. thanks!

I found a scope mount/dust cover that came with a scope. It rocks. Specifically designed for the AK, chinese made. I will check the model name

i have the same thing for my sks,a dust cover/scope mount.the scope is a cheapie but holds point of aim.i paid like 60 bucks for my setup from cheaperthandirt.i removed the cheap scope and put on my 20 power leupold.now that was fun!

I had an ATN brand that was similar to it, it worked pretty well, I was always worried that I would break off the window or something though

ya i thought the same thing too. but these are really tough and you can buy the protective aluminum frame for them like the Eotech.

I say eotech if you MUST. I like the way AK's look with iron sights. just my opinion

I can agree with you reaper, a sleek cool optic does look kinda out of place on a rugged ugly ass AK, but it will improve sighting. what i dont agree with is a hunting scope, whats the point with the accuracy of an AK.
