I don't know if this sounds stupid, but I was thinking about this while I was shopping at safeway. I was thinking, "God im kinda broke, I guess everybody is kinda broke, how the hell did it get this way?" Our country is in a recession right now, we are all hurting for cash, so how do we try to mitigate this, and then this idea popped in my head, "but why doesn't America start charging for our services in other countries." It seems that it is ok for every other country to charge us up the ass for the products that we import so why dont we charge for War. Or charge to help set up a democracy in a other country. I can understand how the Red Cross goes to less fortunate countries and helps save people. That is admirable and I can understand why it needs to be done, but havent we been at war long enough to become a hired gun? Go ahead, let the Arabian oil companys have raiders come in and destroy their oil fields, but im shure after it happens enough they will be wanting our help, but it comes with a price. The money earned from this could pay off the debt, and the rest would go into a profit sharing program for every citizen above the age of 21. It would cause an increase in the work force, lowering of taxes (phew), and a general overall stimulus of our country. Other countries may look at us, like were cheapskates, but who the hell cares, were hurting man, at least we would be resourceful.

Let's say we owe nothing to foreign countries who we have helped. Japan, Germany, France, we owe you nothing at all. This entire war on terror could have easily been avoided had Bush Sr done the following; Set up a meeting with Saddam back in Aug 1990 and explained that everyone knows the US and its allies could kick the shit out of Iraq, but we'd leave them alone if they promised to stay away from Saudi Arabia and give us 25% of everything they got from Kuwait. Strongarm people. We servicemembers are the mercenaries for the world, going into harm's way for shithole little places that no one gives a shit about, so why not do something that actually directly benefits our nation?

I have had what I refer to as bad days at the office. I have had to help carry the headless body of one of my buddies, and I have had people try to kill me. But I still think I have it easier than many people. The very idea of having to worry about whether I will be able to work and provide for my family actually makes me cry. Okay, I'm a bitch, but to be unable to act as the head of my house would drive me crazy. I have it easy. no matter how bad things may get for me personally, I know that whatever happens to me, my family will be taken care of. My life and well-being means nothing to me as long as my family is provided for with a roof, food, and shoes. Those of you (by "you", I mean civilians in general) who cannot be sure when you will be able to work, and worried about what will happen if an unexpected expense pops up have my sympathy. Those who are content to sit on their asses and let the taxpayers buy their milk and pay their utilities while they spend their cash in the bars can eat shit and die. Obama is a fuckhead who is buying support from welfare whores and alienating honest people who want to work by trying to put them all in the same category. There are things that I would love to say to him face to face, and things I would like to see happen, but I can't go that far and call it venting.

Appreciate your sympathy man, but my anger towards worthless dirtbag cowards who feel it better to use the system is what keeps driving me, I always feel that if my anger runs out, like a steam engine I stop.
