I think the GI bill is a damn good idea. What if we tweak it a bit?
{Students attending an institution of higher learning on a GI bill must list "education" as thier minor (as a major would be better). Government funded schools would then be required to give prefference to Veterans when hiring. The Veteran has a vocation to fall back on and the kids get some real learning (not like the liberal run crap we got now).
A 1/2 generation later and a lot of society's problems are gone!
Your thoughts please.

without a doubt!!!

True story: My son is in College in California, he's living in Oakland at the time and one of his Professors is this dicked he can't get along with. He calls me up and tells me he is going to fail the class so I ask him whats up.

Seems this "Professor" is one of the Indians (or self proclaimed native American hippies) that Chained themselves up inside Alcatraz claiming it was stolen Native American Holy Ground, blah blah blah. Well ok, very well might be, in fact, it is. But, WTF is this guy doing not only teaching but grading and flunking paying students that do not agree with his Tree Hugging, Whiny ass opinions?

really ? I mean, he belongs teaching higher education?

No sir, he fell into that bullet... Never argue with a stupid person. They'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!!

Vaq- You are the man, and the bull that comes from these bills or so called bills for Veterans are up the ass to all. I cannot say enough to agree with you and do not want to be misunderstood. My own Daughter got a pell grant because of her father, me. They put me and my finances thru hell, and back and she got the grant with a GPA of 4.0, which was the tops then, same as an A+, now you got every foreignor kid that swam here or whatever gets a special loan, that does not have to be paid back, and guess who eats it? And how do you get aGrade point average like I abbreviated before of 6.9, Because of your circumstances and how you had to fight your way here and yadda yadda. How many Vets kids that were KIA are getting 6.9 GPA's, none. They are eligible for loans, that must be paid back, but when from another country and had to grow up with diversity to get here and try to learn our language, even if you are a dr. no payback is necessary, especially , and get this- if they return to their country and continue to be and help their people by being a DR. Doesen't anybody else have a problem with this than me, and also last night they said on news we are giving x-amount of billions to Pakistan for economic growth and also to Iran. I am ready to sign up again. This really pisses me off, when our boys come home all tore up and some DR. has to donate his time to make him recognizable. I know I am just a crazy old you no what right! JLC

very true ISD

Tuition and tax dollars support Universities, then the Universities hire liberal BS Teachers, get teachers aides to tutor student athletes(do their papers for them,i know this for a fact) and spew their liberal BS,just look at Berkley, hell look at the Uof MN for that matter,i about puked at my step daughters graduation ceremony.Tenure and liberalism ought to be put under the microscope as they relate to tax dollars funding them, and i say fuck them.

i tried being reasonable,i didn't like it, NRA LIFE MEMBER,USMC VETERAN

I do agree with you, but in our lifetime, I do not think so, and college is starting to become a proffession for life for some people, even after raising a family, lets go back to school? John
