I have a friend interested in buying a Para 1911 style handgun. Im not familier with this manufacturer. Can anyone shed some info on this?
I shot one once...... .45 it was alright, it was old/worn as hell so that may have been why I didn't like ti much. But from what I hear they are very good weapons.
I told him i would ask you guys about it.he'll change his mind about 100 times before he buys one anyways.F'N GREEK
haha no problem
Ebear, I love the Para handguns. I have had 2 of them and the only reason I sold them was I needed the money. I love the hi-cap pistol in 40 S&W and 45 acp. The company is from Canada.
would you take the .45 over lets say the Taurus 1911?
If money is no problem, yes I would go with the Para.
My friend the Greek, is bouncing back and forth between the two.I AM STRUGGLING btween getting reloading tools or another 9mm bang bang!!!!!
if you have to time to do it like I do. If you don't have to time to reloaded then I would go with the pistol.
I have an Uncle who has one that he loves. Also I have a friend who as a para LDA in .45 and I've shot it a few times and that LDA trigger is sweet!
The reloading would be my answer to the high prices and scarceness of ammo these days. Do you reload 9mm and .45 too?
Yes, I reload both 9mm & 45 acp, 38 357 mag. I do rilfe calibers 223,22-250,220 Swoft,308, hope to start reloading 204 Ruger,30-06,408 CT,50 BMG.
iS IT EASY TO LEARN?I MEAN I WANT TO BE ABLE TO MAKE MY OWN AMMO , AND I WANT IT TO BE GOOD QUALITY, NOT DIRTY AMMO.
to learn how to reloaded. My ammo looks like new factory when I get done withit.
WELL THEN, IM GOING THAT PATH......UNLESS A GREAT DEAL COMES ALONG , A BABY EAGLE---JERICHO 9MM COMES MY WAY.
I had a para warthog, It was a very nice gun, recoil was a little stiff, but managable though!
I would recomend them.
Although the prices are a little high in my opinion. I feel that you can get just as good a quality gun cheaper.
Like Glock, Springfield, Walther,Smith-Wesson, All are just as good quality wise in my opinion.
