Both would be great for CCW.......But PF9 has a nicer trigger pull than the 709, and the adjustable sites on the 709 suck!
Doc2233
Thanks for the input Shacleford.......I am leaning towards a PF9, maybe to replace my Ruger LCP as everyday carry.......plus the price is right

if you go on Summitguns.com they have Sig p 250 9mm sub-compacts for 379.00//I have bought from this site and they are great.Nothing against Taurus ( I have a 24/7 ) but I'll take a Sig over a Taurus anyday of the week....and twice on Sunday..379 is a great price.

thanks for the lead ebear...I will check them out.

I'd go for the pf-9, here's a review of the pf-9 by a guy that was carrying a kahr pm-9 for his daily carry and switched to the pf-9 sometime after trying it out.

didn't have any issues, kind of weird seeing a single stack 9mm though, have you shot any of these yet?
greg az
looks just like a commander..maybe tad smaller.. think its 8 round of 9mm single stack.. and i like the model 39 smith which is also a single stack.. still might go back for the star if Gloria gets our bills paid.. 259.. and had an extra mag.. im still looking for a 1911 in 9.. and this might be a better idea.. sure cheaper..
luckybychoice
have a beavertail grip safety? i can't remember and i'm not a googleeeeeerr
greg az
all the rest is the same as the 1911.. not sure if it has curved or straight back strap, but know it doesn't have a Beaver tail saftey. But telling you i do want that piece..
Hey i really did send a pm to Sam asking if he could interceed and you keep the stars.. guess will trade back and forth for a bit.. and going to get off now so you get it back tomorrow.. yep i know its not important.. but as your senior... it matters to me that you have it, so will see what hapens.. anyway this is my last tonight, and will see you guys later on tomorrow,

Wife just sold her 709, she was all over the place with it. She got frustrated not being able to shoot straight esp. at more than 7 yards. 709 has a trigger which both of us did not like and the sights were terrible. No experience with the kel-tec's. Wife bought a sr9c, and loves it, and has much better groups with it than the Taurus. In fact, we are suppose to be leaving for the range now, just waiting for her to get off the phone. Family issues or trip to the range?? that woman has to get her priorities straight. lol
